Michael C. Ciano, M.D. is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon in Thousand
Oaks, California ( just outside of Los Angeles). A diplomat of
the American Board of Plastic Surgery, he has been in private practice
for more than twenty years. He has been a clinical instructor in plastic surgery and an attending surgeon, specializing in cosmetic surgery, at UCLA Medical Center. He is a medical examiner and an
expert consultant in plastic surgery, for the State of California.
After graduating with honors from Princeton University, he obtained his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. He completed his internship and residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery at Stanford University Medical Center. Dr. Ciano received additional fellowship training in head and neck surgery at Roswell Park Memorial Institute, hand surgery at The San Francisco Hand Surgery Fellowship and aesthetic surgery at Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital. Dr. Ciano is a published author and lecturer.
